The EdgeRouter 6P / ER-6P from Ubiquiti Networks is a very powerful and efficient router in a compact design. The router has five RJ-45 Gigabit ports with optional PoE function (24V voltage 2-pair/4-pair) and an SFP slot for a fiber optic connection. Thanks to the 1GHz 4-core processor (MIPS64), the ER-6P achieves a capacity of up to 3.4 million data packets/second (64 byte packets). The EdgeRouter 6P works with EdgeOS and is therefore very easy to configure. The user interface offers a clear view of all the available functions of the ER-6P. For experienced users, there is an integrated CLI (Command Line Interface) for quickly entering commands. The UNMS APP for iOS and Android is even easier and more flexible to control and allows you to operate the EdgeRouter from anywhere in the world. VLAN You can configure Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) interfaces to meet the requirements for network segmentation. Firewall The comprehensive firewall allows you to set up your own policies for filtering IP addresses, network addresses or port numbers. DHCP The EdgeRouter supports the setup of multiple DHCP servers with assignment of IP ranges to different subnets and to different Ethernet interfaces. Monitoring You can easily monitor network activity and device activities such as ping, trace, discover, packet capture and log monitor via the web interface.
