The FAX-2840 operates at a transmission speed of 33,600 bps. The automatic document feeder holds up to 30 sheets. Up to 50 jobs can be programmed with the timer and sent at a later time. The most important phone numbers can be stored in 22 destination and 200 speed dial locations. The broadcast function can be used to send a document to up to 272 subscribers. The FAX-2840 is equipped with a 250-sheet paper cassette and a single-sheet feeder. It also has a send and receive memory for up to 400 pages (ITU-T test chart, standard resolution, JBIG).

Copy function:
The FAX-2840 can produce multiple copies of up to 99 copies. The built-in zoom function ranges from 25 to 400% and can be adjusted in 1% increments.
