All you need is a proud ship and a star to show you the way. And preferably someone who can navigate ships by stars. Finally, you own a few of these beautiful rivers, and they lead you to the sea. But that is dangerous and pirate-infested - and you send rat-infested ships across the sea to establish lucrative relationships with distant, trader-infested ports. First you will conquer a few islands to get a foot in the door. The natives seem well-disposed, they shout their cries of peace and give you spears and poison arrows from afar before you can accept them properly. Then you will conquer these ports and look for more rivers from there. Because that is your path. Compared to the 1st edition, 9 sets of cards have been replaced.
