Operating instructions • Insert the battery(s) into the handset as per the operating instructions • Charging begins when the handset is inserted into the base station or charging cradle • It can take several hours for an empty battery (set) to fully charge • The internal electronically controlled charger prevents the batteries from being overcharged or destroyed; the handset can remain in the charging cradle for as long as you like • If the charging capacity of the batteries decreases to such an extent that the operating time of the handset is noticeably reduced, the batteries are used up and must be replaced with new ones Important information on using the batteries • Only use batteries approved in accordance with the telephone's operating instructions. • Only use the same batteries for battery sets. • Do not use third-party chargers. • Batteries can get warm during charging; this is a normal and harmless process. • Exposing batteries to the sun, heat or moisture can destroy the batteries or reduce their lifespan.
