VIVOTEK VS8100-v2 is a small H.264 1-CH video server that allows you to easily switch from an analog to a digital surveillance system. Sharing with CCTV and its small design makes it ideal for front-end installations and surveillance applications such as homes, offices, retail stores, banks and city surveillance where their power and IP network connections are already set up. VS8100-v2 supports a wide range of analog cameras, including PTZ cameras with its pan/tilt/zoom control via the built-in RS-485 port. With the powerful H.264 compression format, it dramatically reduces file sizes and saves valuable bandwidth and storage space. Supporting multiple simultaneous streams allows the video streams to be transmitted in H.264 or MJPEG formats for diverse applications. The streams can also be individually configured with separate frame rates, resolutions and image quality to meet different platforms or bandwidth constraints.
