Ideally matched to all LANCOM VPN gateways, the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client offers extensive security functions that make it ideal for use in any scenario: IPSec encryption with AES or 3-DES, IPCOMP data compression, extended authentication (X.auth, EAP), support for digital certificates and hardware tokens, an integrated stateful inspection firewall and much more. In conjunction with LANCOM VPN remote stations, automatic connection monitoring is available, as is the option of using a separate pre-shared key for each VPN dial-in access.

The integrated installation wizard makes VPN integration quick and easy. Various profiles are available for dial-in. If no LAN or WLAN access is available, the client can also take over dial-in control for analog or DSL modems, ISDN, GPRS or UMTS cards. In conjunction with the dynamic DNS function of the LANCOM VPN gateways, VPN dial-in access can also be used on standard DSL connections with dynamic IP addresses. With the LANCOM user management and LANmonitor, even larger installations can be administered and monitored centrally.

Its wide range of options make the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client the ideal mobile companion for business travelers: from 0190 dialer protection and automatic channel bundling to various start options that can integrate the client into the Windows login directly when the operating system starts. The automatic connection control offers extensive cost control functions and a current overview of charges, online times and transfer volumes at all times. Suitable rollout tools can be provided as an option for large installations.
