EdgeRouter - ER-12 The EdgeRouter combines carrier-class reliability with enterprise-class features in one compact component. Equipped with an intuitive graphical user interface, EdgeOS, configuring the EdgeRouter is very simple and intuitive. For advanced users, an integrated CLI is available for quick and direct access with familiar commands. Manage your network Set up multiple DHCP servers to assign IP ranges in different subnets on the different interfaces - easy control of dynamic and static IP addressing for your network devices. Monitoring tools Conveniently monitor network activities and devices using tools such as Ping, Trace, Discover, Packet Capture and Log Monitor. Secure your network The firewall offers the option of applying self-defined rules in the specified order. Firewall groups Apply the policies to groups filtered by IP address or port number. NAT rules The EdgeRouter changes the packet addressing based on the user-defined source and destination NAT rules. Direct traffic flow Each Gigabit port acts as an independent interface. You can also configure VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) interfaces for network segmentation. Routing Configure static routes and dynamic routing protocols to effectively manage the routes used by the EdgeRouter. With these features, the EdgeRouter provides the centralized control you need to optimize the performance and reliability of your network. Intuitive user interface The EdgeRouter X offers a graphical user interface. Access is via a web browser. The user-friendly interface offers intuitive management with a virtual representation of the network ports. The dashboard shows detailed statistics on: IP information, MTU, data packets (Tx and Rx), and status of the respective physical or virtual interface.
