Description
This heat shrink tubing set from Delock is used to protect and insulate cables, electrical lines or wires. When exposed to heat, the tubing completely encloses the cable and contracts. This protects the cable from the effects of weather and mechanical damage. The adhesive on the inner wall bonds the heat shrink tubing to the shrunk wire or cable.

Application of shrink tubing
The shrink tubing can be heated with a hot air gun; at a shrink rate of 2:1 the tubing will shrink to half its original diameter when heated and at a shrink rate of 3:1 the tubing will shrink to a third of its original diameter.
