Long live the 16th century! What a wonderful time to be a merchant in a busy port city! Take over the leadership of one of the four merchant families, feel the wind in your sails and set course for victory. Observe the actions of the other players and try to predict the demand for individual goods. Wood, spices or porcelain? What sells best overseas? What do you get the best price for and where do you lose because of the actions of the other players? The players are given cards with ships and goods. Their job is to load the corresponding goods onto their ships and sell them at the time of greatest demand, which they can influence by laying down the corresponding cards in the trade phase. Buy, sell, speculate and expand your fleet to become as rich as possible and leave the competition far behind.
